THE PROJECT

The area of the intervention extends over 100 thousand square meters and is located in one of the areas that have always historically been iconic and representative for the Genoese, being the continuation of the Old Port created on the occasion of the Colombiadi of 1992.
Precisely at the hands of Maestro Renzo Piano, who signed that project at the time, a master plan was born that revolutionizes the image of the city and offers a new lifestyle.
The care and attention for the environment is also expressed in the adoption of innovative technologies put at the service of this unprecedented architectural work, designed according to the NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) approach and with LEED GOLD level certification for residences in Iguria, to respect the biodiversity of the place.

Innovating while maintaining the intrinsic nature of the building was the principle with which the redevelopment of the Palasport was approached, which will be offered to the city as a modern sports area, but liveable on a daily basis in its retail ring which will become the new Genoese commercial hub.

THE RESIDENCES

The residences, two buildings called “Scafi” precisely because they recall two transparent ships surrounded by the sea. We are creating a new living concept for Genoa, where modern apartments enjoy a privileged position overlooking nature and at the same time offer their users the most innovative living amenities, such as common spaces for working, meeting, playing with children.

A mix of functions is the concept that inspired the new batch 2.2A
A rich food court, sustainable offices, prestigious residences on the attic floor, and the innovative “Ideas Factory”, a start-up incubator, will complete the distinctive offer of this new city center that will be experienced, where people they will meet and spend their free time.

On 26 May 2022 «Waterfront di Levante» won the award as the best project in Italy among 54 others across the entire national territory.
